Collin County, TX – Parents and citizens are experiencing a rise in dangerous, radical political and social doctrines in their Texas Independent School Districts (ISD). Social-Emotional Learning (SEL), Critical Race Theory (CRT), and gender ideology are being promoted as programs that will help children develop into well-rounded adults who manage their emotions, achieve personal and collective goals, and show empathy for others.
While these goals sound admirable enough, in reality these programs enforce discordant behaviors, create division, promote racism, and are creating severe academic deficiencies. Texas Education 911 seeks to prevent the damages associated with these programs by legislative reform and increased legislative enforcement.
Recently, Collin County Citizens Defending Freedom (CCDF-Collin) hosted an event with Texas Education 911 to bring awareness to their community about these issues taking place within their schools. Texas Education 911 is a movement initiated by concerned community members and parents to bring about positive changes in Texas public schools. They aim to protect children, parental rights, and conservative values.
CCDF-Collin, Texas Education 911, and the Collin County community are working together to prevent the damages associated with these programs through legislative reform and increased legislative enforcement.
